Second Meeting of the Core Group

The second meeting of the Core Group, constituted for the purpose of preparing a blue print for Structuring and Implementation of an Integrated IT enabled Imported Food Safety System under FSSAI, was held under the chairmanship of Sh.V.N.Gaur,CEO on 15th February 2010.The agenda of the meeting included a presentation by the National Institute of Smart Government, Hyderabad on the Project Status, an As-Is Assessment, Observations and Issues, a Best Practices Study and Comparative Analysis, suggested approach to a risk management framework and an update on the plan of action for the next two months, followed by discussions on the various issues raised.

Today,on 12th February 2010, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sh.V.N.Gaur,CEO, with Sh.Vineet Chawdhry,Joint Secretary of MoHFW , Sh.Sanjay Prasad,Director,in charge of FSSAI in the Ministry.All Divisional Heads also participated in the meeting.

A meeting was held on proposed pilot project on Safe Food, Tasty Food, under the Chairmanship of Sh.P.I.Suvrathan ,Chairperson, FSSAI on 10.02.2010 to review the progress of the project. TQS Global Management has given presentation on the project.

Review Meeting of Regional Offices/Laboratories
|
|
A review meeting of the Regional offices of F and VP,MFPO,MMPO and Laboratories under FSSAI was held on 9th February 2010, under the chairmanship of Sh.V.N.Gaur,CEO,FSSAI. Sh R.Vijay,Dir(Admin) and Sh.S.B.Dongre,Dir(F and VP) participated alongwith other officials from headquarters.
